Humpbacks of the Silver Bank LI   The Silver Bank Humpback Whale Sanctuary was created by the Dominican Republic as a way to protect the Humpback Whales that come from the North Atlantic to breed and calve during the winter. It is also one of the few places in the world where an individual can swim with whales.
